Who is Kadambini Ganguly?
Born on July 18, 1861, Kadambini Ganguly was born in Bhagalpur, Bihar. His father was the headmaster of the school. Abhay Charan and his father together founded the Paheli Mahila Samiti of India.
She completed her schooling at Banga Mahila Vidyalaya. In 1878, she became the Indian woman who passed the entrance examination of the University of Calcutta. In 1883, he started his graduate studies.
She was married to Dwarkanath Ganguly on June 12, 1883. She was the mother of 8 children.
Ganguly died on October 3, 1923, after undergoing an operation on the same day.
